Read the following and pass on to anyone you know who will really pray in faith for Lee to be healed.

Hello Everyone,

            I am writing this email asking you to consider joining me in a special prayer focus for one of my best friends, Lee Myers.   Lee is 22 years old, and is a truly amazing young man that carries an amazing deposit of God’s Kingdom in his heart. Lee has been partnering with heaven for the past several years to see the kingdom poured out wherever he goes, especially on college campuses.   Lee lives with a desire to see people know the love of the Father’s heart and the power of His dominion.  Numerous people, young and old, have been healed as Lee prays and asks God to come pour out His will on earth as it is in heaven.

            Several months ago, Lee was diagnosed with bone cancer in his left leg.   Lee had cancer 5 years ago in the same place and at that time, the doctors had replaced his femur with metal.  When the cancer returned this time, it attacked the Lee’s leg and it has done so aggressively.   Shortly after being diagnosed in March, Lee went to see specialist in New York to discuss what type of treatment options would be available.  The options were few, and their first recommendation was to amputate Lee’s leg at the top of the leg.

            This was not an acceptable option for Lee.   For several months Lee has been waiting and praying for what we know is the throne room will of God, for the cancer to be gone, and for Lee to be healed.   Many believers have joined in praying for Lee.   Some have sent natural remedies, vitamins or passed along healing readings or diets.  The outpouring of love and prayer for Lee has been amazing.  

As you can imagine, the waiting has been difficult, especially for Lee’s parents.   They don’t want to see their son in pain, nor do they want to give the cancer time to spread.  After several months of waiting, a surgery date has been set for next Friday, June 15^th.  Lee is still praying that he will not have this surgery, but also does not know what else to do.  

            I am asking you to join with me, and with many others who are believing to see God touch and heal Lee.   I believe that healing belongs to God’s children, and that Jesus already paid the purchase price for the cancer that is attacking Lee’s body.    

            As I have been praying over the past week, a testimony came to mind of one of the early healing revivalist in the 1800’s.   The testimony was one of a young woman by the name of Carrie Judd Montgomery.  Carrie had been very sick and her family had written Elizabeth Mix, who at the time had a powerful healing ministry.  The family had invited Elizabeth to come pray for their daughter, but due to distance and schedule, Elizabeth was not able to come.   She asked the family to gather people who would believe and pray in faith, and told them she would be praying for Carrie at a specific time.   She instructed the family to fast and pray leading up to that time and to invite others to do so as well.      Then, when the specific hour came, everyone was to pray together and agree with heaven for the girl’s healing.  At the end of the hour, Carrie got out of bed.  She later went on to have a powerful healing ministry. 

            It seems over the last week that when I pray for Lee, this testimony goes through my head.   I have talked with Lee, Elana, and several other friends who I know are praying for Lee.  We are going to set aside time on Tuesday, June 12 to pray from 7pm (EST) until 9pm.  We are asking for others to join with us in contending for breakthrough in Lee’s life.   Would you consider taking some time between now and Tuesday evening to fast and pray about this?  Then join us on Tuesday, in focusing our prayers for Lee’s healing.  

Pray for God’s throne room will to be poured out in Lee’s body, just like it is in heaven.

Pray that we would have eyes to see what the Father is doing, and that we would move in unison with the Holy Spirit.

Pray for cancer and death to be destroyed by the life giving power of the Spirit of Jesus that lives in Lee. Praise God for His goodness and for the destiny that He has carved out for Lee’s life.

            I believe that while the physical attack on Lee’s body is very real, that this is an attack that is primarily spiritual.   Lee is one of many rising leaders who are learning to bring God’s kingdom to the earth.  I believe that this attack on Lee is an attack against the calling that is on his life to impact a generation.   At a time when a call is going out across the face of the earth for those who will give everything to see God’s glory cover the earth, the enemy is combating this heart that has already said “YES”.  

            I believe that Lee carries a calling and anointing that will greatly impact campuses and nations (at the least).   I have heard the prophetic words over his life, witnessed the Spirit moving in and through this young man.  I am not ready to give up or give in.   It is time to press in.  We are learning to contend for a greater breakthrough than what we have known before.   We are learning that breakthrough requires the tenacity to keep going until we actually see break through.  I have envisioned a great brick wall that stands between Lee and what we believe to be the best of Father’s heart.  When we pray and agree for God’s best to break into Lee’s life, we are taking a sledge hammer to the wall.   It is time to keep swinging.
